WORKING PRINCIPLES
MODUS mini static bark control dog training collar provides an effective
solution to dog barking.
When the internal microphone detects dog
barking, the device will wake up from the sleep mode and get ready for
activation.
When both internal and external microphone detects dog
barking, the collar will give the dog an electronic shock to stop its barking.
The shock is caused by the dog's barking. Dogs can learn to eventually
associate barking with electrostatic stimulation and will stop barking once
the device is put on the neck. This is a safe and effective way to stop
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
1. Microphone : Detects dog barking sound from the outside.
2. Fabric Collar.
3. Adjustable buckle: Use to adjust collars length.
4. Quick release clasp: Tighten/release collar.
5. Main control button.
6. LED light indicator：
Green: Working properly.
Red: Low battery indicator.
7. Battery door.
8. Inner microphone : Detects barking coming from the dogs throats.

transmitting electric shock.
Attached Compontents
1. Long haired dog probes (attachments) set: Probes for transmitting
electric shock.
2. Two CR2032 Lithium Batteries (both required): Insert battery by having
positive (+) terminal facing inside housing.
3. Screw Driver: Open / Lock battery door: Changing probes.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Ⅰ.Battery Installation:
1. Remove the screws securing the battery compartment using a
screwdriver.
2. Insert CR2032 lithium coin batteries in to batter compartment. Please
note batteries should be placed with the positive side facing down.
3. Tighten the two screws using the screwdriver, do not over tighten.
Note: In low battery condition (red light blinks 3 times, then turn off),
When replacing batteries after usage you must completely discharge the
collar by holding a plastic handle screwdriver across both stainless steel
probes for 5 seconds. Make sure the metal portion of the screwdriver is
touching both stainless steel probes and the unit is in the OFF position.
Ⅱ.Examining the Probe
(1) No changes required for short-haired dog. Skip to next section
(2) Instructions for long-haired dog:
① Use a wrench to rotate to the left (counter-clockwise) removing the two
probe attachment for short-haired dog use.
② Put the short-haired dogs probe accessory in a safe place for future
③ Put the long-haired dogs probe into the slot and turn it clockwise until
the two probes screwed (not too hard).
Collar Fitting
Note: Please make sure the collar is put on dog's neck firmly, not too
tight and not too loose. The probes must be touching the skin of the dog
in order for effective electric shock.
1. Ensure dog is in a relaxed position(Figure A).
2. Open the collar clasp and loosen the adjustment buckle to put collar
completely around your dog's neck. Place Inner microphone directly over
dog's voice box (Figure B).
3. When assembled correctly, the collar should rest directly behind the
dog's ears (Figure C).
4. Adjust for proper fit by pulling on strap until you can push one finger in
between your dog's neck and collar. The collar should be firm, but not
excessively tight.
5. Let your dog wear the product for sufficient time to make sure the collar
is secure and not become loose.
6. Remove collar from dog and cut off the excess collar material, leaving
approximately 1 inch.
7. Seal edge of collar using a flame.
8. Reattach collar to your dog. Collar is ready to use.
HOW TO USE
1. PRESS AND HOLD THE MAIN CONTROL BUTTON FOR 4 SECONDS.
Note: Three LED lights turn green at the same time, continuous flash twice
and accompanied by two sounds, then become only one LED lights green.
The green LED indicates which level is currently selected.
2. CORRECTION LEVEL
Ⅰ- LEVEL 1 - LOW
Ⅱ- LEVEL 2 - MEDIUM
Ⅲ- LEVEL 3 - HIGH
3. HOW TO CHANGE CORRECTION LEVEL
Press & hold button for 4 seconds. Now the green LED light indicates the
current LEVEL.
The shift between three LEVELs can be achieved by pressing the button ea
① Light blinks once every 5 sec. Indicating power is on.
② If three LED lights turn red at the same time, continuous flashing 5
times and accompanied by two sounds then turn off automatically, it
indicates battery need to replaced.
③ Press & hold button for 4 sec. to check or change correction level.
④ The LED light will illuminate green when a bark has been detected and
correction is being given.
4. TURN OFF
Press & hold button for 4 seconds, three LED lights turn green at the same
time, flashing twice and accompanied by two sounds. Release the button
then the collar bas been turned off.
